These containers have clear sides - no guessing at what might be inside. They also feature lids that are airtight, yet easy to open thanks to the notch in the base that lines up with the protruding part of the lid, allowing your finger to get some leverage without ruining your manicure. Store leftovers in the fridge or freezer, heat them in the microwave, and then toss the containers into the dishwasher for carefree clean up. I bought this to replace one of these sets i have had for a long time, most of the older set is fine; however, i couple containers had gotten marked(perhaps from the dishwashing) and i wanted to add to my collection as well...these keep foods fresh, can be frozen without any problem and are excellent

These store very compactly. It is a lot easier when you have a uniform set for storage purposes clean and unclean. theyu have cleaned up nice and easy, but I havent put ketchup in them yet.so that would be the real test. they are aLSO BPA Free which is what you need when storing food.I wish they include a bigger size container which is sold separately. I was kind of mad from amazon because the price dropped almost 30% after I purchased them they should have a price adjustment policy for purchases within 10 days or 30 days period come on you guys! I was so fed up with the mess in my container drawer that I decided to get rid of all those nasty locking mechanism container that gather mold and take forever to assemble after washing them . I take them apart when I wash them because otherwise they will gather mold. you can store them in a corner of the drawer with the cover, they all fit inside each other and many use the same size cover. One problem I have though is if I loan them out, I may never get them back.

One of the main reasons I decided to buy this plastic container set is because (voila) it is BPA Free. Definitely important to me, as I already have plenty of plastic containers at home I intend to eventually toss and thought a matching set would be nicer.
I deducted a star because I was slightly dissapointed at the fact that there are so many SMALLER containers in this set that really couldn't fit much expect spices, etc...this could possibly be good for people with smaller babies, or elderly or pets who need pureed food in small amounts. Nice and convenient.
Overall I like this set and would recommend it for purchase to others, as long as you read (didn't do this myself) beforehand, the sizes of containers that are included in this box.
The containers stack nicely as well as the lids. We are a family of 5, and yet I don't know if someone actually needs this much tupperware out at once? (particularly with the smaller containers).
Bottom line, if you need new tupperware, this is a nice price to get BPA Free tupperware at (got free shipping and paid $10.47)
